Welcome to the Department of Viticulture and Oenology of the Democritus University of Thrace.

The Department of Viticulture and Oenology is a department that is inextricably linked to the productive fabric of the region and treats subjects that are important elements of our country's economy. The Department of Viticulture and Oenology is the only Department of Agriculture with a direction and specialization in Viticulture and Oenology. It provides the professional rights of agronomists according to the Law 344/200 as well as the professional rights of oenologists according to the Law 1697/1987, Art. Bulletin 57, Article 4, Paragraph 3.

Your studies will also lead you to obtain the Integrated Master after the certification of the degree. At the same time you will receive a certificate of digital skills based on the curriculum. The curriculum aims to provide you with an agronomic education and at the same time give you expertise in the fields of Viticulture and Enology with a combination of courses in cultivation and food processing techniques as well as Wine and Beverage production techniques.
